Plans for 2025

Hey, hope you’re all coping with 2025 OK. As for me, here are the two things I want to achieve this year:

1. Bring Fleshcult 1 to completion

This means tying up all the loose ends in the storyline and polishing the remaining rough spots. This won’t happen immediately, I have a doozy of an ending for the story and that alone will take a couple of months to realise.

 

2. Accelerate Fleshcult 2 prototyping towards production

There’s a long way to go. I have a very early prototype that maps out the mini-games I want, and allows me to test how they interact. The mini-games are currently rather empty, but I think the framework is coming along nicely. I’m also working on a new engine: all Javascript rather than Python, designed to support translations and modding without code. Last month I added saving and animated meters to it. Because I’ll be interleaving the Fleshcult 1 and 2 work, I doubt I’ll be doing any side projects this year.
