Edit: Done!
I’m planning to turn off the server for the web version on October 29th. If you’re in the middle of a game there, I recommend finishing up soon!
If you can’t afford to move to the Steam version, never fear; the Itch version is Pay What You Want, and that includes free.
If you’re on Mac, I’ll be looking at doing a port after the release crunch dies down. Mobile users, I’m sad to say, are entirely out of luck. Sorry about that.
What about the linux folks?
I’m not planning a native Linux version at the moment. I’m very curious to hear if it works in Proton or Wine. Let me know if you’d like a key to try that out
I’m on Linux as well, so I’ll take you up on that key offer if you want more testers.
For anybody reading: early indications are that it works well on Proton and is pretty busted in Wine, so I recommend the Steam version over the Itch version.
You could try with [lutris](https://lutris.net/), which has customized wine builds dedicated to games. I usually get good result with it.
The Web version is currently broken. The background and styling is missing.
https://oneirolith.itch.io/ works, but does not link to Fleshcult on itch.io.
https://oneirolith.itch.io/fleshcult gives a 404 We couldn’t find your page error.
So while you might at some point have been able to pay what you want for the game, you currently can not.
Oh crud, looks like I forgot to point the CDN to play.fleshcult.com. I know about the itch page not being there yet, people discovered that you could download it ahead of time by messing with your system clock in the itch app, so I delisted it until tomorrow.
Thanks for letting me know!
EDIT: The images should be back now
